Marshal Service / Building Security department revamps its recruiting strategy
The Marshal Service / Building Security department has revamped its recruiting strategy to include the pursuit of candidates from the private sector.
The change in strategy widens recruitment efforts to include candidates with experience in call centers, alarm monitoring centers and customer service. The Marshal Service / Building Security department was able to recruit Telecommunication Dispatcher Tiffany Gafford, a graduate of the University of Kansas with two years of alarm-monitoring experience. Officer Gafford recently completed field training and is currently attending the Telecommunication Course with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
“We look forward to her continued progress and achievements with the Marshal Service / Building Security department,” Assistant Chief Jose Munoz said.
